About the event

Join us for a free field day showcasing innovative crop production practices, on-farm research trials, and organic farming techniques. A complimentary cold lunch will be provided for all attendees.


Participants will have the opportunity to explore a variety of crop fields and research projects, including:

  • Beet and carrot production

  • Early market potato crops

  • Hemp production

  • Green manure pea-oat blends

  • Oat production

  • Oat and fava bean green manure systems

  • Leafcutter bees and alfalfa seed production

  • Greenhouse and high tunnel demonstrations


Attendees will also learn about several ongoing crop trials, including:

  • Canovi carrot trials (pending seed arrival)

  • Crystal Green fertilizer trials

  • PhoSul trials

  • Good N Green trials in oat fields


This hands-on tour offers a unique opportunity to discuss practical farming approaches, and explore innovative strategies for soil health, crop nutrition, and organic production.
