About the event
Join us for a free field day showcasing innovative crop production practices, on-farm research trials, and organic farming techniques. A complimentary cold lunch will be provided for all attendees.
Participants will have the opportunity to explore a variety of crop fields and research projects, including:
Beet and carrot production
Early market potato crops
Hemp production
Green manure pea-oat blends
Oat production
Oat and fava bean green manure systems
Leafcutter bees and alfalfa seed production
Greenhouse and high tunnel demonstrations
Attendees will also learn about several ongoing crop trials, including:
Canovi carrot trials (pending seed arrival)
Crystal Green fertilizer trials
PhoSul trials
Good N Green trials in oat fields
This hands-on tour offers a unique opportunity to discuss practical farming approaches, and explore innovative strategies for soil health, crop nutrition, and organic production.
